Torrie wanted to mention Sable during her Hall Of Fame speech in 2019. She had Sable's name in her speech during the rehearsals backstage, but WWE Officials told her to remove Sable. Below is what Torrie said: "You're not even allowed to mention her name on...she was - I mentioned her name in my Hall of Fame speech and right before, they told me, 'Oh, by the way, you're not allowed to mention her name'. Good luck seeing her. You're gonna have to go up Timbuktu in Minnesota (to get Sable's autograph)." Edge broke this rule on tonight's SmackDown, when he appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect. Complete SmackDown Results Tonight's post-Money In The Bank episode of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden kicked off with The Usos coming out. They said people thought it couldn't be done, but they did it - they beat Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman then came out with Solo Sikoa. Usos tell Heyman to shut up and Heyman says there's only one man in WWE that can tell him to stop, and Solo suddenly stopped Heyman and Heyman is shocked. Solo throws the mic out of the ring and out comes Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to a huge pop from the New York crowd. Fans are chanting "you got pinned" at Roman. Reigns tells MSG to acknowledge him and they did. Reigns says yeah, the fans are right - he got pinned, but the last time he checked, he's still The Tribal Chief. Fans begin chanting "Tribal Chief" now. Roman tells both Jimmy & Jey Uso that they're not The Tribal Chief, so Roman is confused how they can call for Tribal Court, because they don&#

Heath Slater Would Like to Return to WWE

Image
Former WWE Heath Slater appeared on Francine's "Eyes Up Here" podcast. Slater has been appearing on Impact Wrestling since his release from WWE during the pandemic. Slater talked about his time in Impact Wrestling: "In a brief, like, a little summary of Impact for me. I got released from WWE. Three months later, I went to Impact in the COVID days where there's no people and it was weird and sucked ass. Excuse me. I didn't mean to say that. It was horrible. We hated it. It was like wrestling practice matches all the time. We knew the camera, everyone was seeing it, but it's always good to feel the energy. I got hurt like six months after COVID hit and I was out and already signed the deal with Impact for two years, but they honored my contract. They didn't shoot me to the side. They extended my contract. They paid me while I was hurt to where it was just like, I gotta tip my hat to Scott D'Amore and all of them. They're stand up people. They&

Instagram   Roman Reigns is no longer unbeatable. In the main event of the WWE Money In The Bank 2023 premium live event, the Bloodline Civil War took place. The Usos defeated Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. At one point, Roman hit Jey Uso with a Spear and went for the cover, and Jey kicked out by hitting Roman with a low blow (similar to how Roman used to do the same thing a few years ago). After a series of superkicks, double superkicks from both Jey & Jimmy Uso, followed by a splash, Jey finally pinned The Tribal Chief. This was Roman's first pinfall loss in 3.5 years. Prior to this, he was last pinned at the TLC 2019 PPV by Baron Corbin, which was 1,294 days ago. Jimmy wanted to bury the hatchet with Roman after the match, but Jey stopped him. MITB 2023: John Cena wants one thing; makes massive demand for WrestleMania WWE icon John Cena made a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank 2023. He had already been in London for a few days, with some speculation as to whether he would make an appearance. He did, and he had a ground-breaking demand for WrestleMania. John Cena spoke about how some WWE higher-ups feel like fans in the UK try to hijack the show and make it about themselves. Cena praised them and said that they are the show. But while it first seemed like he simply came to pander, he had a more important demand. John Cena revealed that he came to publicly demand for WrestleMania to be held in London for the first time ever. WrestleMania, as you know, has only ever been held in North America - with 37 in the United States of America and 2 in Canada. The last WrestleMania outside of the United States was 21 years ago in 2002. WrestleMania in London is something that WWE fans have been clamoring to happen for years. Wembl

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Review June 30th 2023

Image
Instagram Photo Credit: WWE – 30th June 2023 SmackDown  This was a very filler episode of TV, a shame for a go home show, but very much had two major positives. The first was LA Knight, and the second was the relationship between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Those two factors were the show's saving graces’ and feel like by far Smackdown’s most interesting assets. The wrestling was mostly disappointing considering the quality of the prepared card, with a good but undercooked opener and a messy main event creating a feeling of frustration, though the short but sweet triple threat was plenty of fun. The crowd were mostly very hot though from what I could hear it felt like it dipped in several segments and quite a few wrestlers got disappointing reactions, though some of the biggest reactions of the night were deafening. The show built okay, bookended by its biggest matches, but none of the matches got enough time and so they did feel a bit disjointed. In truth this is a show you could

POPULAR WWE STAR SHARES ANGER OVER ATTEMPTS TO KILL HIS CAREER

A popular WWE star with more than 20 years of experience has opened up about his anger at others trying to kill his career. Before finding success on the WWE roster, LA Knight was a familiar face in TNA/Impact Wrestling and had success in the NWA and on the independent scene. He had a short run in 2013 where he would appear on NXT primarily as enhancement talent before his release in August 2014. Despite his success across multiple companies that has seen him carry championships, including being a former Impact World Champion and NWA World Tag Team Champion, Knight’s career has seen retaliation from others. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, LA Knight explained: “ I’ve had attempts on my career. And what I mean by that is people trying to kill my career, you know, so there’s a lot of there’s a lot of anger. There’s a lot of      frustration, but there’s also a lot of vindication at this point. “Some of that anger still so that hate letter to wrestling is still enough. It’s my bi
