Edge Broke WWE's Rule On Tonight's SmackDown

During a virtual signing for The Asylum Wrestling
Store in 2022, WWE Hall Of Famer Torrie Wilson
revealed that Sable can't be mentioned on LIVE WWE
programming anymore.

Torrie wanted to mention Sable during her Hall Of Fame speech in 2019. She had Sable's name in her speech during the rehearsals backstage, but WWE Officials told her to remove Sable.

Below is what Torrie said:

"You're not even allowed to mention her name on...she was - I mentioned her name in my Hall of Fame speech and right before, they told me, 'Oh, by the way, you're not allowed to mention her name'.

Good luck seeing her. You're gonna have to go up Timbuktu in Minnesota (to get Sable's autograph)."

Edge broke this rule on tonight's SmackDown, when he appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect.

The Rated-R Superstar said this is the 25th anniversary of his WWE career and he will celebrate in Toronto next month.

Edge then talked about his memories in WWE. He talked about his first SummerSlam, which was in 1998, where he teamed up with Sable to take on Marc Mero & Jacqueline.

Don't expect Edge to get any heat for mentioning Sable in his promo, as the rule that Torrie mentioned is from 2019, when Vince McMahon was still handling everything, and Triple H & Nick Khan might not care about this as much.
